The LEARNing project
LEARNing arose out of the work of the the LEARN (Learning in Agriculture Research Network) Group, a primarily European network of researchers with an interest in rural change. It is an interdisciplinary project based on interactive approaches and stakeholders' participation, and aims to build a research agenda which addresses the pressing problems in rural Europe today.
LEARNing has a website hosted by INRA.
Two reports based on the LEARNing events in May and December have been produced and are available on-line.
There is also a leaflet (pdf, 161K) describing the project.
Cow up a Tree
The LEARN Group has published a book called Cow up a Tree: Knowing and Learning for Change in Agriculture, Case studies from Industrialised Countries.
